OSSCE ILA BEGINS YEAR 2019 WITH PRAYER MEETING

The annual prayer meeting of the OSSCE Ila came up on Wednesday, 9th January, 2019 with the college staff coming out in their large numbers.

The prayer meeting was characterized with praise, worship and words of exhortation premised on dealing with one another with love and were co-handled by both Christian and Muslim communities respectively.

The Provost in his opening remark commended all staff for their unalloyed support, cooperation and understanding in ensuring the sustenance of the College and also encouraged them to continue in that spirit in the interest of the entire College community.

He emphasized the need for all staff to be deeply involved in the admission process by bringing students for admission because the college has only gotten about 700 students so far as against 4,000 students envisaged. He stressed further that he will take the welfare of staff with utmost priority and will ensure that all their dues are given them at the appropriate time as things get better.

The Provost never failed to mention the on-going renovations embarked upon by the College Management through the intervention of the Education Trust Fund (ETF) and also assured the staff of up-coming ones. He informed all staff that there will be re-organization in the College system, particularly in security and cleaner units, to ensure normalcy in the two units.

He enjoined the staff to be fully prepared for the up-coming 2019 NCE accreditation exercise which was long overdue and must be done urgently to save the College from being sanctioned. He finally hammered on the need for all students who still owe school fee to pay up on time.
