Bursar

You are welcome to the Bursary department, the financial hub of the College. The department is saddled with the responsibility of managing the finances of the College. The Bursary department is headed by the Bursar, who among other responsibilities performs the following functions:

1. Management of College financial transactions records
2. Collection, safe keeping and disbursement of various funds that belongs to the College

• Preparation of College Budget and Control

1. Establishment of effective and functional control system to safeguard the asset and liabilities of the College
2. Ensuring that the management complies strictly with government financial policies and regulations in the day to day financial administration in relation to:
3. Due process
4. Authority limit of spending officers
5. Guides against fraud and other illicit transaction
6. Preparation of Responsibility Accounting to show the sources and application of funds. This eventually forms the basis for preparation of annual final accounts to be presented to the external auditors to show credibility and authenticity. The department vision and mission is driven by core corporate governance, principles of proper accountability, proactiveness, transparency and adoption of ethnical best practices in institutional financial management.

The Department comprises of eight (8) sections saddled with one responsibility or the other as may be determined by the Bursar from time to time. Each of the section has a sectional head who oversees the affairs of the section and is directly responsible to the Bursar.
