OSSCE ILA MATRICULATES THE 2018/2019 NCE REGULAR STUDENTS.

The matriculation ceremony of the 2018/2019 came up on the 5th March, 2019. The ceremony which took place at the Unity Hall of the College started at 11:30am and was well attended by good number of people ranging from the College Management, Matriculating students, members of staff and well wishers.
  The Provost of the college,Prof. Yinka Oyewole declared the ceremony open and this was followed by the presentation of the matriculating students school by school by the Registrar of the College, Mr Aderinola Adeoti and the signing of oath forms by the matriculating students respectively.
  In his ceremonial speech, the Provost of the college thanked the almighty God for His grace over the College to conduct another colourful matriculation ceremony. He congratulated the affected students for being part of the admitted students for the 2018/2019 academic session.
  He enjoined the students to be more alive to their primary assignments in school and should shun any activity capable of truncating their academic pursuit in the college. He also stressed further that the College Management will not take kindly to whosoever found trying to rub the good name of the College in the mud.
   Speaking on the academic calendar, he hinted the students that the college has introduced quarterly assessment/Test which will be conducted on each student in order to ensure academic excellence as the motto of the College portrays. He urged the matriculating students to attend class regularly and face their studies squarely and as a matter of duty. He prayed that the students will all excel and none of them will drop out midstream. He advised them to be modest and decent in their dressing, shun cultism and should not follow multitudes to do evil. He hammered that anyone caught in the habit of trying to destabilize the peace which the College has been known for, will have himself or herself to be blamed as the College will not hesitate to deal decisively with such student.
  The ceremony was brought to an end with College provost declaring it close by 12:45pm.
