The College Provost while explaining the present situation of the college said the college is at the verge of collapsing and that there in need to rise up to its survival. In his call for support and co operation, he raised some of the problems rocking the college, varying from lack of funds, snail rate in admission process, lack of facilities, shortage in number of students and inability to conduct accreditation of both NCE and Degree programmes, among others. He lamented the embarrassing situation as shameful and unfavourable. Reacting to this clarion call by the provost, some of these highlights were mentioned as the major problems bedeviling the college and the possible way out;
- High cost of school fee which may be reduced.
- Bad representation of the school by both staff and students in which staff and students were enjoined to be more committed and always endeavour to redeem the good name of the college.
- Hostility of tenants to students and staff which should be made more cordial and understanding.
- High cost of goods like; food and wares which should be considerably reduced
- Delay in the release of results which should be revisited and ensure prompt release of result.
- Incessant strike of staff which should be moderate and reduced to the bearest minimum, among others.
The provost applauded all the opinions raised, having done justice and satisfactorily answered all the questions posed by the contributors and he also promised not to rest on his oars until the good of the college becomes best.
