             OSSCE ILA CONDUCTS DIGITAL APPRECIATION PROGRAMME TRAINING FOR STAFF

The management of the Osun State Colege of Education Ila Orangun has again in its unwavering efforts for staff development committed to its staff to Digital Appreciation Programme under the caption (ADAPTI), which was sponsored by the federal Government in conjunction with the National Communication Commission, Abuja.

The provost of the college, Prof.Isaac Olayinka Oyewole in his welcome address thanked the NCC team on behalf of the college management and expressed his happiness to the commission for considering Ossce ila as one of the institutions among other to benefit in the DAP training. He appreciated the commission for its past efforts in ensuring that the college is rated among the world class institution all over the world through their timely intervention in supplying the college with computer, laptop and tablets appliances. He lamented that upon this, the college still needs further support of the commission. He pleaded with the commission never to stop their good gestures in assisting the college in order to achieve its set goals.

In his reaction, the NCC team leader, Barr. Abiola Jimoh sincerely thanked the college management and appreciated the warm reception offered by the college management which is unimaginable and which made them feel at home. He promised that the commission will do everything humanly possible to stop at nothing in helping the college to realize their dreams, through the provision of necessary appliances that will further project the standard and quality of the college.

The training was characterized by different digital appreciation Programmes such as;

  1. Introduction to computers
  2. Microsoft word
  3. Microsoft Excel
  4. Microsoft Power points
  5. Introduction to internet

It was an interactive session that gave room to intensive teaching and practical. Questions and answers were also entertained.

The staff development DAP training programme was well attended by staff and the college management.

The management of Ossce Ila Orangun is hereby commended for this laudable initiative and achievement as the college staff still expects more of this self-development trainings from time to time.
