OSSCE ILA FROWNS AT INDECENT DRESSING AND HOOLIGANISM IN CAMPUS

The authority of the Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun has re affirmed its stand to deal ruthlessly with any student found exhibiting any act of hooliganism or parading himself or herself in indecent dresses such as; wearing of net or transparent cloths, coloured wigs or attachments, tinted, uncombed or dreadlock hair, large earrings, crazy jeans, mini/macro skirts to mention but few.

This was made known in the memo issued through the Students Affairs officer, Mr Idowu Oyewole  on 17th October, 2019,  that the College Management has vowed to sanction and made to face severe disciplinary measure, any student found culpable.

In an interview granted to the Students Affairs Officer in his office, Oyewole mention some of the efforts taking by the College Management in ensuring that the college students are trained to become useful to their immediate communities and the nation at large. He said further that the primary assignment of the college is to develop students who will be self disciplined, morally upright and academically balanced to impact knowledge that will contribute positively to the society and our nation at large.

Finally, he advised all the students to always wear their ID cards whenever they are on campus in order not to be mixed up with miscreants on campus, because ID cards are means of identification for both staff and students.

He warned that security agents are on the alert to apprehend any students caught in an unlawful act.

Therefore, all students are advised to comport themselves in an orderly manners whenever they are in school because it is part of the training they are to showcase to the world.
