OSSCE ILA MANAGEMENT STEPS UP IN DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS
The Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun Management under the leadership of Prof Isaac Olayinka Oyewole deserves a big kudos with the recent ongoing developmental projects in the college.
The college management in the recent time has brought a tremendous facelift to the outlook of the college with the ongoing developmental project embarked upon, among which are; an ultra modern Administrative complex, which is structured to accommodate all the principal officers of the college and unit heads for the day to day running of the college and it is close to completion, modern equipment for processing of food products including water, welding, carpentry, fashion and so on.
Among other thriving investment of the college is the poultry which accommodates almost 2,000 birds for egg production, also a pure water industry (under construction) and a 380 capacity ultra modern E-library to serve college community and its immediate environs which are yielding academic profits for the college.
The college management is also planning to erect a building which will be used for entrepreneurship to provide hands on training to the students to enable them to become job creator instead of job seekers.
Furthermore in her drive for economic buoyancy, the college management has also initiated other academic and professional programmes and courses that can also benefit both the staff and students in their career progression, such as; PGD in Education, Chartered Institute for Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria, MSC Social Work Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso, Nigeria Institute of Hospitality and Tourism, Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria, to mention but a few are all in operation to move the college forward. There are still other projects in the pipeline that are yet to be completed for the welfare of all students and staff and for the betterment of Ila community at large.
The college management through the dynamic provost, Prof, Isaac Oyewole has also been able to access a good source of financial assistance from TETFUND, the intervention is being used to carry out relevant projects in the college, such as renovation of lecture halls, staff offices, road networking, purchase of equipment, staff training both local and international, supply of furniture, erection of buildings, academic research, manuscript writing, journal publication and international conference.
The good work still continues under the positive oriented administration of the dynamic provost of the college, Prof. Isaac Olayinka Oyewole.
