Introduction
Library is a repository of knowledge. Library is a public institution that preserves knowledge of the past generation for the present and preserve knowledge of the present generation for the coming generation. It is an institution that selects, acquires, organises, preserves and disseminates information resources to satisfy the information needs and aspirations of the information seekers.
Library is the backbone of any learned institution. Its roles cannot be overemphasised in academic pursuant. It is established to support the educational curriculum activities of its parent institution. Just like other academic library of the world OSSCE library which was established in 1979 to be providing relevant, vital and current information that cut across all courses/programs offered by the College. The OSSCE library is a must visit to all students, staff, researchers and the neighbourhood of the College for their information needs, for them to excel in their academic pursuance. The library also provides conducive environment for reading and learning. We rendered variety of services to our users. The services include information dissemination; reference Services, referral services, current awareness service, inter-library loan services, photocopy service, e-library services, library publication, etc.
